Our Philosophy
Our actions are directed by the importance our role plays in helping you work towards your retirement goals. We feel a keen responsibility to act in the best interests of you and your employees, as we understand what that will mean for your future. With that in mind, these are the beliefs that guide how we serve our clients:
- Each company has unique retirement plan needs. As an independent firm with no proprietary products, we provide unbiased guidance and have the flexibility needed to pursue the best interests of our clients.
- Plan sponsors and participants should know the expenses and fees being charged for their retirement plan. Our firm believes in full transparency of our fees. We operate on an asset based fee structure and you will never have any surprises regarding the costs of our professional services.
- Success is defined by participant retirement readiness. There are many benefits for the employer in having employees who are financially prepared for retirement.
- Many people want and need assistance planning for retirement, but many do not know who or what to ask. As such, we make ourselves available to all employees and maintain contact throughout the year. The most effective messages are targeted to individual employees, tailored to their needs and focus on outcomes.
- The use of independent, third party analysis on investments, fees and providers is a best practice to consider when seeking to meet your fiduciary responsibility for prudence. As your advisor we provide you with this research and are also willing to acknowledge our co-fiduciary status in writing.
- Our passion is to help others, and we promote that culture by guiding people toward financial independence.
